Automotive Inspection Services (South West) Ltd is a Cornish based company specializing
in the inspection of used cars and commercial vehicles for Motoring
organizations, Insurance companies and private individuals.
The area we cover is Cornwall & West Devon. We will go further
afield by arrangement.
Our services include pre-purchase
inspections for those wishing to purchase a used car
or other vehicle, both for private individuals and
on behalf of the RAC. A full condition report is compiled
which gives an overall assessment of the vehicle being
considered based on a visual examination. We also
use electronic equipment to identify previous body
repairs and any major accident damage which may have
been disguised.
Used car inspections start with a visual mechanical
inspection which will identify any potential problems
likely to incur expense in the near future. A full
road test of the car is carried out at the end of
each inspection to assess the overall drivability/safety
and confirm any defects noted during the inspection.
Other services available include service audits on
behalf of motor manufacturers, investigations into
the causes of mechanical failure, vehicle examinations
for major insurers and used car and other vehicle
